Galaxy Quest 3D Blu Ray 1999

I am genuinely really excited to rewatch this absolute classic in 3D - I have not seen it in years but have very fond memories - I best dash and grab some popcorn for when I get time to watch - thanks JFC!

Millions of fans worldwide are in ecstasy, the most popular science fiction series in the world is going on another adventure. It's just stupid that the fictional filming of the series unexpectedly turns into a real adventure. Suddenly the team is faced with an unplanned situation, full of danger, no stunt crew and no chance to simply say “cut”. Who would not want that, a real space adventure? Well, our crew is not entirely comfortable with the whole thing, and the adventure could quickly turn into a nightmare. But if you do not have a chance, the only thing that helps is to flee forward, and in the end you have no choice but to do what you do best... If you love Star Trek, you can not ignore Galaxy Quest. It lovingly captures everything you love about Star Trek. The cult film beyond all cult films. A fantastic film, with outstanding cast and a breathtaking setting. Here, the cult film honoring, a great 3D was implemented. It expands the spatially limited set very nicely and brings us a enormous size. The viewing angles are good and create a direct proximity to the action. Overall, a real feel-good atmosphere in the third dimension has been created here that people do not want to miss. My only point of criticism is that I think the intro of the film, right up to the opening scene at the convention, should have better stay in 2D... but that is artistic freedom and i am not the creator. In total, an absolutely great 3D upgrade for a real cult icon. Enjoy it...
