Inventor Dr. Who creates a machine that makes it possible to travel through time. However, this unintentionally turns into an excursion to another planet. Our travelers now find themselves in an inhospitable place where two races are fighting each other bitterly and the humanuid life form that lives there has been almost wiped out by highly technical DALEKS. Actually they are just trying to get back home. But our group around Dr. Who, are seen by the DALEKS as enemies too. It seems only logical to stand up to the oppressors a little... Classically staged Sifi film with a top-class cast. With impressive colors and a brilliantly minimalist backdrop, a dark masterpiece was created here whose parallels to our development don't seem very far-fetched. The combination of simple scenery, oppressive atmosphere, brilliant performances and own interpretation makes this film a treat for fans of classic fantastic films. An extraordinarily well-introduced 3D supports large parts of the film, interior scenes benefit from the wide opening of the field of vision. Almost all of the exterior scenes, such as the forest, which almost looks like after an apocalypse, were implemented so brilliantly that you would almost suspect an original 3D production. The individual levels of the scenes and their shifts offer a fantastic 3D effect, which is further enhanced by cleverly chosen viewing angles. Nevertheless, great importance was attached to not letting the 3D take the lead role. This is extremely well done and the result is an enormous upgrade of a film that was brilliant even in 2D... Thank you for this fantastic journey into an excellent third dimension.
