Story 3D Movie

They Live 3D is a science fiction film directed by John Carpenter. The story follows a drifter named John Nada, played by Roddy Piper, who discovers a pair of special sunglasses. When he puts them on, he realizes that the sunglasses reveal a hidden reality. Through the lenses, Nada sees that many people are actually aliens disguising themselves as humans, and they use subliminal messages to control human behavior.

As Nada tries to expose the truth about the extraterrestrial infiltration, he joins a resistance movement against the alien forces. The film explores themes of consumerism, conformity, and the manipulation of society. With its iconic line They live, we sleep, the movie is known for its social commentary and satirical take on contemporary issues. They Live 3D is a cult classic that blends science fiction, action, and political commentary in a unique and thought-provoking way.

They Live 3D Blu Ray 1988 originally was not released in 3D but has been converted to 3D specifically for the 3D-HD.CLUB, offering viewers an enhanced visual experience of the thrilling action sequences and special effects in the movie.

I've always been aware of They Live's cult status but somehow never gotten around to see it throughout the years. Well now that I have am I glad to say that I did. Tbh I wasn't quite sure what I was watching the first 40 mins and it was testing my patience, but once the main protagonist puts on the glasses things took off from there. The movie has a political message and is entertaining in a campy silly type of way.

JFC did an excellent job converting the film from 2D-3D. Especially the 2nd half of the movie is extremely strong!

Thanks for yet another great 3D conversion JFC! 3D is truly amazing, with great object separation, amazing depth, and an overall wow 3D look. It's natural for this movie to be in 3D (revealing sunglasses is a major plot point!) and I wonder why it wasn't done officially for an anniversary or something. Have you considered doing Carpenter's cult classic The Thing? It's got a lot of shots that would benefit from 3D.
