The Lion King 3D Blu Ray 2019

The Lion King is a long-awaited 3D film based on the famous animated film The Lion King 3D! The plot tells about the unusual adventures of a lion cub Simba (Donald Glover), the heir to the lord of the savannah Mufasa (James Earl Jones). Treacherously deprived of the throne by the treacherous Uncle Scar, Prince Simba fled into exile. But then Simba returned to overthrow the impostor and become what fate destined for him - the powerful, wise and fearless King Leo. 

Residents of the pride welcome the new Prince Simba - the newborn son of the lion king Mufasa. It seems that the entire savannah is enjoying the newborn lion cub, only Mufasa’s brother, Scar, will not at all accept the idea that he will not become king. Then Uncle Simba, battered by life, decides to unite with the company of hyenas in order to get rid of the king and the young candidate for the throne.

There are more and more Hollywood remakes of beloved Disney classics every year, and when it comes to rethinking The Lion King, it was just a matter of time. Among the other cartoons, the story of Simba is something like a sacred cow, which must be treated with the utmost care, otherwise you can bring down the wrath of a righteous people. But now the moment has come, it was decided to use the most advanced technologies in animation, thus making the savannah and its inhabitants as realistic as possible.

As a result, as expected, the film turned out to be impeccably beautiful. A fabulous pride literally came to life before our eyes, and this is truly an incredible sight. Unfortunately, the advantages of adaptation end here. The biggest advantage of the picture is the realistic CGI characters, they became a stick in the remake wheel. As we know, with human facial expressions in animals (if it’s not a smiley dog) it’s hard, you can count the emotions of characters only by voice, so you can’t associate yourself with the main characters as before. By and large, the whole action is more like a program about wild animals on the Discovery channel, which is drunk by your drunk friends. From this, the most dramatic moments tearing apart the heart in the 1994 cartoon do not work at all in the new version.

In general, watching in 3D movie The Lion King is a must!
