The Monkey King 3D is a 2014 Chinese-Hong Kong fantasy film directed by Cheang Pou-soi. It is based on the classic Chinese literary work "Journey to the West" and features the popular character Sun Wukong, also known as the Monkey King.
In this 3d movie, the story follows Sun Wukong, the mischievous and powerful Monkey King, who has been imprisoned under a mountain for five hundred years as punishment for his rebellious actions. However, he is granted a chance at redemption when the young monk Tang Sanzang embarks on a perilous journey to the West to obtain sacred scriptures.
During their journey, Tang Sanzang and his companions encounter various challenges and obstacles, including treacherous demons and supernatural creatures that seek to hinder their mission.
