Dune Part One 3D Blu Ray 2021

First off, I’m totally amazed this movie is here so quickly 12-26-21. It is not due to release until January 11, 2022 according to all my research, which is why nobody else seems to have this movie posted yet. IMPRESSIVE! KUDOS!
 
This is in fact a real copy and NOT a lame conversion like so many other unfortunate posts on this website.
 
This must be some type of early German release because the translation subtitles are in German according to a Google translation I did on one of the phrases displayed. Unfortunately these foreign translation subtitles are hardcoded into the smaller SBS video I downloaded. I will download the LARGER copy later in hopes I can also obtain the English subtitles to encode on my own copy. I’m hopeful the Blu-ray copy is NOT hardcoded with subtitles in a foreign language so I can re-encode with my own English versions without other hardcoded distractions on screen and in the way. I will post further comments on the Blu-ray version when I finally get that copy which takes me quite a while to download. Note: The SBS does have translation subtitles, however, they are slightly out-of-sync, maybe on purpose as to not overlay on top of the hardcoded subtitles, plus they do not translate other written caption type text shown throughout the movie. I fear this early release Blu-ray copy will not be compatible as an English release version would in these regards and may have to wait on a more traditional American version to be release instead.
 
Thanks 3d-hd.club for making this movie available so quickly, as well as, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which I’m currently downloading.

Previously I said I’d comment about the larger Blu-ray copy regarding its hardcoded subtitles, however, I recently obtained a different version via a Torrent which has the hardcoded subtitles in English. So I will not be able to comment on the version offered here as I expected to do originally.
 
Since the translation subtitles are also hardcoded on my new version as well, I’d have to conclude any other copies located are going to be equally region specific as to which language will be used in their hardcoded translations. Good luck locating a version that you may desire if indeed the one offered here is only a mirror of the German version of the SBS downloadable version provided here as well.
 
I encourage anyone who downloads the Blu-ray version from here, to please comment on the hardcoded subtitle language being offered as to help other decide if this is appropriate for them to invest in downloading.
 
For those who may Torrent, the file name for my English version is “Dune.2021.1080p.3D.BluRay.AVC.DTS-HD.MA.5.1-UNTOUCHED”. I hope this information helps others, please leave comments if it does so I know if I should bother doing such things in the future.

I just noticed that the embedded translation subtitles within the SBS MKV file are in 2D, which is very weird. Whomever created the SBS version must have also bothered to create a special subtitle file that translated any alien language spoken, as well as any sign language used, and then added it into the SBS MKV file, but unfortunately left it in a 2D format rather than convert it into a 3D format instead. I can’t imagine what they were thinking doing such an ODD thing which is totally unwatchable during playback that would try to display 1 subtitle between 2 overlaid split screens that actually breaks up the single subtitle, half on one side, and half on the other (a true disaster).
 
If possible, in the future maybe offer everyone a separate SRT subtitle file to download so others can manipulate it to their own needs. Personally I hate default WHITE subtitles which can often be less than visible within a video depending on bright backgrounds. Subsequently, I always make my subtitles YELLOW with a small BLACK border and with a LARGER font for my older eyes, plus this allows me to also define a vertical position on the screen to display the text. I can even select the depth in or out of the stereo window to help keep them out of objects or people shown on the screen. All of this is only possible if a SRT subtitle file is also provided. There are websites that offer subtitles files which may help, but one already created for the videos frame rate and duration is a GREAT help whenever possible. Translations of foreign parts only subtitles are of even greater value, like this one has embedded as a PGS (Presentation Graphic Stream). If anyone knows how to extract the PGS subtitles with the timing information from a video file, please posting more about the process or tools required here, thanks.

3D Enthusiast, it was available in Germany prior to the US version, which explains the availability. I checked the iso file, and I don’t believe anything is burn in on that version. Depending on your OS, there are free programs that will extract embedded subs, and may even be players that will allow you to modify them on the fly. It sounds like you’re using a headset, and unfortunately I don’t know much about them. Heck, I barely know what I’m doing in most regards. But I have software that usually gets me where I need to be. Received my Warner US hard copy yesterday.

Got the Blu-Ray ISO and there's multi-language subs so I have no idea what the one guy was doing hardcoding one language in, especially on the 2D layer...
Doing my own conversion with multi-language audio and subs so will see if that goes well. Can make it available to replace the one here if wanted.

hello, im sorry, but im new in this :) can yo please point me to best software to do conversions, i'm thinking about adding english audio file to blu-ray rip, because its only in Russian, do you think it possible? with out loosing the quality?
i tried DVD FAB , but for some reason the quality come out terrible, even after i used MAX bitrate quality.
im looking for Prometheus in full 3D quality in english, but there is nothing out there :(, only in Russian.

Try BD3D2MK3D with the full ISO can pick and choose which subs or audio sources to keep etc.
