Noah 3D Blu Ray 2014

The only righteous person on Earth was Noah 3D - a devout father of a family who began to attend terrible visions of the end of the world. Realizing that imminent death awaits people, Noah set about building an ark - a giant ship that was supposed to protect his family and himself from the raging waves. However, Noah had to fight not only with the elements and his own fears, but also with quite tangible human evil: people who heard about the construction of the ship and feared for their lives also wanted to be saved. Only there was no place for them in Noah's ark.

Screening the famous biblical tale, Darren Aronofsky promised in an interview that his film will be closer in style to the Lord of the Rings than to traditional Hollywood biblical productions. It was a strange statement, but it turned out to be pure truth. Noah really does not depict the Middle East, but a different, antediluvian reality. Lifeless rocks instead of a desert, constant cloudy weather, bizarre animals like a scaly dog (unfortunately, this blessed theme is only outlined and not really revealed), fallen angels wandering among people - giant multi-armed creatures enclosed in a stone shell, at the same time looking like Tolkien's ents and robots -transformers ... And people, as mighty and dumpy as the surrounding mountains. Russell Crowe, Ray Winston (as the Cainite king opposing Noah), Anthony Hopkins (Noah's grandfather and Methuselah the hermit sorcerer) are three perfect casting decisions. But Jennifer Connelly as the wife of Noah and Emma Watson as the bride of the patriarch's eldest son are too stunted, roomy creatures to fit into the antediluvian world. And the sons of Noah (Douglas Booth, Logan Lerman, Leo McHugh-Carroll) also turned out to be somehow unconvincing, not primitive enough.
