Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes 3D Blu Ray 2024

rien a dire....juste sublime et magnifique 10/10 pour cette conversion bravo encore encore.....merci JFC les studio n'aurait pas fait mieux.

Planet of the Apes goes into another round. After a long time, the clans live peacefully in their areas again and most of the surviving people become more and more savages and apparently no longer pose a threat. But the peace is deceptive... A new ruler is trying to use force to create a future that is very dark times remembered in humanity. And we meet people who have learned nothing from their previous defeat and are striving to recapture their former world by any means possible. Since the monkey took over the world, the planet has never been again as close to the apocalypse as this time... Great film, impressive, wonderful shots and plenty of action. Of course, every part of the saga is a firework of CGI, but once again it is well implemented and does not seem intrusive. And this is exactly where 3D comes into play. It does not seem forced, it adapts perfectly to the surroundings and massively supports the sometimes impressive scenes. It offers both beautiful detail up close and great depth throughout much of the film. The viewer is in the middle of the action at close range, but not permanently. In some cleverly chosen parts you are “just” a viewer. The mixture is perfectly balanced. I felt very comfortable in the third dimension...

Having watched both 'Dawn' and 'War' in 3D previously, I was disappointed that 'Kingdom' wouldn't be getting a 3D blu ray release which turned me off to watching it to be honest...but I wasn't disappointed for very long as JFC has come along and delivered another quality 3D Apes film! There are plenty of reasons why it's a shame when all the films in a series are not available to watch in 3D, personally I find that watching characters in 2D after 3D just isn't quite as engaging - but engaged I certainly was watching 'Kingdom'. And so this is another 2D title that sits proudly in my collection next to the 3D retail films - I honestly would not have bought the 2D release had it not been for JFCs hard work on this conversion - simple as that. Thanks JFC. Keep up the good work!
