The plot of the movie Planet of the Apes 3D Blu Ray 1968

In Planet of the Apes 3D, astronaut George Taylor and his crew crash-land on a mysterious planet after traveling through space for centuries in suspended animation. To their shock, they discover that this world is dominated by highly intelligent apes who speak and have built a society akin to that of humans.Taylor, initially captured and treated as an inferior creature, manages to escape with the help of sympathetic chimpanzees, Zira and Cornelius, and a human mute named Nova. As he explores this strange world, Taylor encounters the rigidly structured society of the apes, where humans are enslaved and treated as inferior beings.Throughout his journey, Taylor confronts the prejudices and hierarchies of ape society, eventually leading to a shocking revelation: the planet is Earth, and humanity has destroyed itself in a nuclear apocalypse, leaving the apes to rise as the dominant species. In the iconic climax, Taylor discovers the remnants of the Statue of Liberty buried in the sand, realizing the true nature of his predicament and the fate of humanity. The film concludes with Taylor's famous lamentation over the destructive capabilities of mankind.Planet of the Apes 3D remains a classic science fiction film renowned for its social commentary, memorable performances, and groundbreaking makeup effects. It was nice to rewatch this classic in 3D. It's a decent conversion, but nothing that stands out really. Still, would rather watch this version than 2D.

One of the most successful science fiction films of all time, and an absolute favorite of the genre. But the first Planet of the Apes is simply getting old. Unfortunately, despite various remasters and new film transfers, you can clearly see the years of existence. The charm and atmosphere have of course remained and continue to give the viewer a special cinema feeling. However, it was daring to work on this classic in 3D. It offers only little opportunity to exploit the potential for the third dimension. Nevertheless, it was tried. At least in general it worked out quite well. But the many compromises that the template forced on the process have of course set clear limits to the conversion. It was not possible to implement the full range of modern 3D without risking violating the atmosphere. The result would be a completely unrealistic effect. Therefore, the work was done extremely carefully and the focus was more on beautiful close-ups and their fine details than on enormous depth and width. For some people this may be a little too little. But it is always a balancing act to create a 3D that is worthy of the term itself, but which still maintains the film's own character, only supports it and does not spoil the atmosphere or even make the whole film seem unrealistic. Especially because I ultimately never expected to see this film in 3D, my special thanks for that. In my opinion, a wonderful, round 3D that honors the classic has been created here. My full respect for this nice work.
