Joe Dirt 3D 2001 follows Joseph Dirt a janitor at a Los Angeles radio station discovered by shock jock Zander Kelly. He tells how his parents abandoned him at the Grand Canyon during a family vacation. He spent years searching for them while cleaning portable toilets and selling fireworks. He befriends a janitor named Clem who helps him survive the streets and later reconnects with his love interest Brandy a waitress from his hometown. Joe travels across the country following false leads. He reunites with his father who admits he left Joe because his gambling debts put them in danger. Listeners help Joe find his mother.
