Johnny English 3D Blu Ray 2003

British humor paired with French arrogance in a comedy of a special kind. Rowan Atkinson is the epitome of an anti-agent par excellence. He is dim-witted, bumbling, and presumptuous... in short, the pure arrogance. At the same time, he is incredibly patriotic, fearless, self-sacrificing, and charming. The British crown could not be better as with him, when the megalomaniacal scion of a distant French lineage attempts to seizes power in the kingdom through intrigue and manipulation. As simple, ingenious, and perfidious as evil may be mixing its cards in this game, it is always good to have a Johnny up your sleeve. Wonderfully executed. The 3D is brilliantly integrated. London has never seemed so vast. The playful attention to detail and wonderful depth give this film an extra edge. It is hard to resist the films charm, and you inevitably become a participant in this magnificent movie. I have probably watched Johnny English half a dozen times... it is never been such an intense experience... I would love to see more.
