Queen of the Damned 3D Blu Ray 2002

Another film based on the "The Vampire Chronicles" series by Anne Rice. After the brilliant film adaptation of the first volume, "Interview with a Vampire", the third volume does not continue quite chronologically. But it is not just the order that has been changed. The implementation also differs greatly from its predecessor. In particular, "Queen of the Damned" is immersed in a bizarrely beautiful atmosphere with a great ambience and is not quite as serious as its predecessor. This looser narrative, the great soundtrack and the fresh look give the film a very special touch. This is also very noticeable in the 3D implementation. In keeping with the original, it has a pleasingly open design and is implemented with surprisingly good depth and detail. As if the film should get a booster. Admittedly, Queen of the Damned was never able to match the success of its predecessor, but the film still had a decent fan base simply because of Aaliyah as the leading actress. But everyone who has been a little skeptical about the film can be assured that the upgrade has been very successful and that the film is an absolute highlight in purely visual terms now.
