Red Dawn 3D Blu Ray 1984

Imagine a typical morning in a small American town: schoolchildren are sitting in class when, outside the window, a paratrooper landing begins. A few minutes later, they’re already running into the woods because the country has been overrun by the Soviet Army and its allies. A group of teenagers led by Jed Eckert, played by Patrick Swayze, decide not to give up and form a guerrilla unit called the Wolverines.

The most interesting thing about *Red Dawn* is watching how ordinary high school students gradually come face-to-face with real war. At first, they view what’s happening almost as an adventure, but the romance ends rather quickly. The film becomes harsher and more serious than one might expect from an ’80s action movie.
