It 3D Blu Ray 2017

By far, Stephen King's "IT" is one of the best film adaptations of the master of horror. The earlier film, starring a brilliant Tim Curry, unfortunately only partially did just to the book and, despite the casts superb characterization, never quite captured the atmosphere of the novel. This remake has taken a different approach. In particular, to do at least some justice to the books complexity, the film was split into two parts, which is actually what happens in the book. Second, the focus was not on the cast, but on the overall picture. Everything plays for the cast, not the cast is over everything. This creates an oppressive atmosphere that is almost like reading the book, something that every King film actually needs, but rarely happens. A wonderfully creepy and simultaneously well rounded and harmonious adaptation of this global bestseller. Unlike previous King film adaptations, this one feels well thought out and well executed, and so it is probably difficult to add value by expanding the dimensions because the basis is already extremely well laid out. Nevertheless, it is well done. I found the overall solid 3D to be more than adequate. A fantastic expansion of the entire playing area, with well developed depth that does not make you miss the oppressive feeling of the small town. Sometimes less is more. The perspectives are good, and again, in a few scenes, particularly detailed work has been done, giving you the impression that this is not just a simple standard 3D, but rather one that individually and precisely emphasizes what it needs to support. In the end remains an impressive experience and the wish to see sometimes the second part in the same fantasic third dimension, to complete the entire film...
