A milestone in martial arts film history. Bruce Lee's real legacy. Unfortunately, he was never able to see the theatrical release himself. Bruce Lee died shortly after completion on July 20th 1973, less than a month before the premiere and at the top of his career. “Enter the Dragon” was his last fully shot film. He interrupted the production of “Game of Death” to make film history, traveled to the USA and shot the first martial arts film on American ground. A co-production between Hong Kong and the USA. Produced by Raymond Chow and Fred Weintraub, directed by Robert Clouse. Enter the Dragon is probably the most acclaimed martial arts film of all time and has never lost its popularity due to its authentic fight scenes. The implementation in 3D has been brilliantly done. A very impressive worthy choreography supports aspecially the fighting sequences very good and sets focus on these scenes. But the whole Movie is in a nice decent clear structured 3D in all. The master is staged in an extremely appreciative manner. Important to mention is that all fighting squences look like they were really shot stereoscopically. The now added 3D does change the speed or the authenticity of the fighting technique not even for a part of a second. The Hall of Mirrors in particular is completely awesome... A must-see film in 3D. Not only for connoisseurs of true martial arts. It should be mentioned that in Enter the Dragon the focus was set on the absolute perfection and authenticity of the martial arts, and not, as is often the case, on unnatural show effects, elaborate special effects or high acting performance. Even after over 40 years, every new martial arts film has to measure with Enter the Dragon. It was an honor that I was able to experience this film in 3D.
