Majd, I have been watching 3D movies for over 50 years. This is probably the greatest 3D movie ever made. It seems to last only about 10 minutes, it is so perfect. I don't say that lightly. Spoiler alert. Don't read this next section if you have never seen the movie. From the towns people going out to seeing the meteorite, with wonderful depth, to the three men perishing from the Martians heat ray, to the Cobra machines coming out of the gulley, and then the attack on the world, only to show the heroes at the farmhouse, coming into contact with the aliens, until the final battle in LA, every scene is a true work of art. And to think JFC said it could be better. Hogwash. This is as good as it gets. Another one for the 3D history books. You may not like old sci fi movies, but this is the best one ever made. Leave your biases at the door, and get ready for what 3D has to offer. Thank you JFC. From the bottom of my heart.

    Rating: 20/10 Perfect.

Is there anything more classic than watching 50s sci-fi in 3D? Being able to watch War of the Worlds in 3D is a real treat. The conversion by JFC is pretty strong and certainly improves the experience. Artifacts such as blurry halos around objects is minimized. If I had any complaints, it's that certain scenes have almost too much depth (eg, a guy leans against a car and his elbow looks like it's a few feet behind his body), but they are minor and the overall experience is wonderful.
