In Edge of Tomorrow 3D, Hordes of aliens attack the Earth. Confused detachments of people resist as much as they can, but the outcome of the battle as a whole is not in their favor. The middle-aged staff careerist Bill Cage (Tom Cruise), who by the will of fate found himself on the front line, dies along with one of the aliens and falls into a kind of time loop. After death, he wakes up over and over again and begins his last day all over again, gaining experience and fighting skills, so that in the evening he will again die the death of the brave. Nobody believes in the phenomenon of such a "groundhog day", but soon there are people who have experienced a similar effect. With the help of this fantastic trick, mankind can turn the tide of the war in their favor, however, Cage will have to die for this repeatedly.
