Money from Home 3D Blu Ray 1953
The plot of the movie Money from Home 3D 1953
Dean Martin plays a small-time New York gambler who owes money to the wrong people. To pay off his debt, he’s offered a chance to pull off a scam involving a racehorse. He drags his simple-minded cousin Virgil played by Jerry Lewis into the scheme, and Virgil unexpectedly finds himself at the center of the whole scam.
This is a classic Martin and Lewis comedy: Martin is the self-assured con artist and heartthrob, while Lewis is the bumbling, naive character who constantly creates new problems. Plus, there’s horse racing, the mafia, a romantic subplot, and plenty of physical comedy.
But the film has one truly interesting feature. It’s the duo’s first color film and their only feature-length film in 3D. It was shot in Technicolor using a special Dynoptic camera. In fact, the 3D version was so technically complex that, in the end, the film was shown in this format in only a small number of theaters.
