Hamnet 3D 2025 is a period drama directed by Chloé Zhao based on the novel by Maggie O'Farrell. The film centers on Agnes Hathaway, a woman with a deep connection to nature living in 16th century England. She meets and falls in love with William Shakespeare, a young Latin tutor, and they build a family together. They have three children including twins Hamnet and Judith. When their eleven-year-old son Hamnet dies from the plague, the family is shattered by grief. The loss fractures their marriage and transforms their lives. Years later, Shakespeare writes a new play called Hamlet, channeling his sorrow into art.
