In the middle of the big city, Leroy lives a modest life and emulates his great idol, Bruce Lee. His old Kung Fu Master let him know that their path together has to end, because Leroy has touched the highest level and now he has to go the last way himself, to become a real Master. So he gets out on the journey to complete the final, the highest level of Kung Fu. But there is a shadow over him and the city. A megalomaniac Video Game producer tries to dominate the Music Video industry without any scruples
and a Master who has strayed from the path of goodness terrorizes the citizens with his gang. After Leroy accidentally gets in the way of the Video Games magnate and the nasty Master feels like it is his personal duty to challenge and destroy Leroy to a fight... the two darklings make a pact to get rid of Leroy. Actually, Leroy always followed the path of peace, no matter how stony it was. But after they threatened his family, hurts his friends and kidnapped his girlfriend, the ultimate confrontation is inevitable. Will Leroy manage to complete in time, his path to become a Master? A little movie pearl in typical, charming 80s style. Brilliant soundtrack, great choreography and a unique cross-genre mix of kung fu, fantasy, action, music, dance, comedy and love make “The Last Dragon” a very special film experience. The 3D conversion is beautiful. It conveys a reasonable amount of depth and ensures that the choreography is optimally supported in many areas. Furthermore, the film grain and color have been significantly corrected in this version, resulting in a very smooth overall image. Even though I'm generally a fan of keeping screens in its original in 2D, especially in cinematic scenes, I have to admit that it is actually an interesting side effect that the screen in this film is presented in 3D this time, after all, Enter the Dragon has already been excellently converted into 3D. Of course, it helps to have experienced the 80s firsthand, but in general, anyone who loves the 80s in all their colorful glory will love this little gem even more. I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed this film...
