Gizmo is a Mogwai, small, cuddly, but by no means easy to care for. He once came to Billy as a Christmas present, and the two became best friends. But with Gizmo, you take on great responsibility. A disregarded rule led to unintentional offspring, and another disregarded rule caused them to mutate into gremlins. After these Gremlins, more or less laid, waste to Billys hometown completely, their paths diverged. Billy now works in New York, in a crazy skyscraper full of high-tech and research facilities. As fate would have it, they meet again here, because Gizmo is a test object in a genetics lab. After Billy frees him and desperately searches for a solution to bring him home safely, the events take another dark turn. To make matters worse, the many laboratories in the building offer expanded opportunities and upgrades for a horde of potentially already very dangerous Gremlins. This time, it is not just a small town at stake, this time, New York could be extinguished... A lot of passion has obviously gone into the 3D implementation.
