Salem's Lot 3D Blu Ray 2024

The original Stephen King adaptation was not really close to the original novel. Nevertheless, the old film is one of the cult classics of the genre. The atmosphere created gave a very special cinema feeling. However, I would not have thought that a remake with a similarly beautiful atmosphere would be possible. I was wrong. The film does not seem old, boring or uninspired. There was a little adjustment here, but ultimately a lot of the novel was still forgotten again. Nevertheless, the whole thing is simply very well implemented in modern times and adapted to a current audience. The simple, small town atmosphere is crowned with great images that make the filming location look fantastic. The 3D used is great, it brings a lot of depth and makes a very solid impression. The combination of beautiful depth with the beautiful shots and the well known plot allow the viewer to immerse themselves deeply in the story and support the directors overall very well rounded work. Nice remake, Great 3D... Recommendation
