Hugo 3D 2011. Orphaned Hugo Cabret lives secretly within the walls of a Paris train station, maintaining the clocks after his uncle disappears. He continues his late father's work repairing a broken automaton, believing it holds a message. Hugo steals parts from a toy shop and is caught by its owner, Georges. He befriends Georges's goddaughter Isabelle, who possesses the heart-shaped key that activates the automaton. It draws a scene from a film by Georges Méliès, revealing the old man's hidden past as a pioneering filmmaker.
