Nova Zembla 3D is a Dutch historical drama film that tells the true story of Willem Barentsz and his crew's harrowing journey in the late 16th century.  In 1596, Willem Barentsz, a Dutch explorer, sets sail on the ship "The Mercury" with a crew of 17 men. Their mission is to find a northeast passage to Asia, a route that could revolutionize global trade. However, they encounter extreme cold, treacherous ice, and harsh Arctic conditions that test their survival skills and unity.

As the crew becomes stranded on the desolate island of Nova Zembla 3D, they must endure freezing temperatures, hunger, and despair. Tensions rise among the men as they struggle to survive and face the harsh reality of their predicament. Barentsz, with his leadership and determination, tries to keep the crew's spirits up and maintain their hope of returning home.
