The Fiji Islands, located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean, are considered one of the best places for diving. The famous explorer Jean-Michel Cousteau called them the "capital of soft corals" because they grow here in large quantities. This attracts more than 300 species of fish, many turtles and other marine life. From July to September, underwater visibility reaches 30-40 meters, which allows you to observe a breathtaking panorama. One of the most popular places for diving and underwater photography enthusiasts is Mbenga (Beka) Island. This is an oasis of untouched nature with beautiful beaches, waterfalls and coral reefs of unusual shapes. The island is home to several Fijian villages with rich cultural traditions. Particularly impressive is the ancient ritual of walking on hot coals.
