In Nothing but Trouble, a 1991 American comedy horror film, we follow the misadventures of Chris Thorne, a financial publisher, and Diane Lightson, a lawyer. The two meet at a Manhattan party and agree to travel together to consult a client in Atlantic City. Pursued by the quirky Chief of Police, Dennis Valkenheiser, they are brought before his 106-year-old grandfather, Judge Alvin Valkenheiser. The judge takes offense at their behavior and locks them in a hidden room under the courthouse, where they await judgment.As they eavesdrop on Judge Alvin’s violent execution of convicted drug dealers using a deadly roller coaster called “Mr. Bonestripper,” Chris, Diane, Fausto, and Renalda realize they’re in for a bizarre and perilous ordeal. Their attempts to escape the clutches of the strange judge and his ghoulish family lead to a series of wacky traps and death-defying situations.The film blends comedy, horror, and absurdity, creating a unique cinematic experience that keeps viewers guessing until the very end.
