Comin' at Ya! 3D Blu Ray 1981

Comin' at ya! (German title is "Alles fliegt dir um die Ohren") is in some ways a typical Italian western. Brutal, callous, raw, hard, a little confused and often not a particularly good and simple story. But this is not new to the genre. What is new, or rather was, because it is an Italian late western produced in 1981, was the kind of art for wich the 3D was used for in this film. The 3D was in some moments looking like you could freeze the picture and go around it, just to watch the movie from a complete different place or from the side. Never was used a bigger stereobase in a film. Ferdinando Baldi, an Italian screenwriter and director who worked with stars like Franco Nero, Ringo Starr and Terrence Hill, first time in history did this. With Comin' at ya! he has left a milestone in 3D pop outs, that no one else has ever reached since. It is a fact that this is by far the film of films when it comes to pop outs. If anything, then at best "Flesh for Frankenstein" by Andy Warhol can only keep up. The title is the absolute plan. Literally everything is blowing up in your face here... The German sound obviously comes from a shortened and enhanced German-language VHS cassette, which is one of the rarest 10 VHS films in Germany. However, it was painstakingly brought back to normal speed and matched to the film as best as possible. Enjoy the biggest pop outs ever in your home cinema...
