Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 3D Blu Ray 2023

Ok guys here we are, on another level of quality and requirements in terms of 3D conversion. Let me explain. Having seen yesterday in 4K, one thing I said to myself was not the complexity of this animation, but above all, the perpetual camera movements with very little pause, even a fixed image for a few long seconds. And that's where the magic happens with the work of JFC. We are honestly close to perfection knowing that you only have one person who took care of converting the whole of this film which lasts 2h20 minutes, which is not nothing. It's teeming with color details, onomatopoeias of effects ....... in short, a mixture of impressive details that our favorite stereographer has set himself as a challenge. He set the bar very high this time. I just loved watching it a second time on my LG E6 which is the latest 4K 3D OLED TV. Congratulations to you JFC, you are a magician ??????!!!!

Fasten your seatbelts as JFC is going to take you on the 3D ride of your life. I really enjoyed the 3D conversion Sony did on their first feature length Spider-man offering and was very disappointed that this added dimension wasn't added to the theatrical release version. The amazing graphic styes that kaleidoscope across the screen are much more enjoyable if separated into 3D space but the amount of detail and fast moving scenes and cutting make it a daunting job for an entire team of stereographers to convert successfully. However luckily, we have the skills of JFC to deliver his 3D version of this amazing film which in my opinion blows the first film's 3D conversion out of the water and into the stratosphere. It's boggles the mind to think that one person could create this astounding 3D translation while not even having the original 3D files to use in the process. This is now my all time favorite animated 3D film. But don't take my word for it, download it now and get ready to be amazed and brought into the action filled world of the Spider-Verse!

Watched this last night, and wow, MIND BLOW! Incredible work, JFC! This conversion made the movie so much more watchable and enjoyable for me. It's a very busy movie, with a lot going on at times, and the 3D really helps focus your eye in on the details that matter. I'll probably be watching this again this weekend, it was that good. I watched Spider-man: Across the Spider-Verse, some hours ago and my first impulse was calling my friends to invite them watch JFC's conversion. I posted a long review for The Flash for I was able to analyze it while watching it, but I have felt so immersed in Spider-man, that I forgot my will was reviewing its 3D. Contrary to The Flash, which I love after being converted by JFC, but not before, I think this Spider-Man is a (n animation) masterpiece. So this was a big responsibility for JFC to convert. Not only that, part of the geniality of the movie is a frantic edition and an eclectic style in animation, with constant re-drawings, frame and shot changes, which are like a messing puzzle for a 3D director which has to decide how to adjust every shot, lacking real world references. That allows more creative freedom, but it is also a puzzling work. So SONY might have thought the expense needed to convert this to 3D was not profitable, but now comes JFC and does it! for us! and does it masterfully.

2 hours 20 minutes and I couldn't believe it was over in "such a short time". I was so immersed I forgot to analyze. I was just enjoying the artistic style, direction and script, sublimated by the beauty of JFC conversion. I got to appreciate how, as usual JFC signs his work making some scenes midler and some more intense, but forgot to analyse where and why, though some shots are obvious (spoiler free: after being hit a character recovers conscience, when opening the eyes, the first sight is 2D, and then the world gets 3D again).

I was astonished for the beauty and depth of every shot, I wanted to make 3D screenshots of everything to keep them as souvenirs of the experience (of course I didn't, I can't imagine how hard JFC's work has been), so I forgot to analyze and let the thing go by. I got carried away. But in the end, this is the goal of an artist, not being analized, letting their arte to carry you away. JFC is an ARTIST. With capital letters.

Do the same, my friends who are reading this, get carried away and don't analyze. But for God's shake, don't ever watch this movie in 2D. JFC 3D in combination with an already good movie is a masterpiece.

The first thing I've got to say for this, is,
OH MY GOD!!!!!!
I neeeeever thought I would be able to enjoy this movie in 3D.
But well, let's be honest: I always hoped JFC would try it as soon as he could.
And man... I wasn't wrong.
When I received the first minutes from JFC, I just couldn't stop fangirling. The respect he had for the composition of the film, the colouring, the lack of visible artifacts, AND FUUUUCKKKK!!! His way of dealing with all the 3D environment that's ocurring on every frame was just superb.
I anticipated him, "You're gonna hate certain section of the film..." and I DID NOT EXPECT HE WOULD RAISE THAT COMMENT ONE DAY AFTER!!!
His attention to detail is so thorough that he proudly commented me a few days later that he had delivered it to admin.
I knew it was gonna be sick to enjoy the movie afterwards.
Never would I know that just a few weeks later, JFC started a new campaign on his Kofi account. It would enable us to enjoy the movies ONE WEEK earlier!!!!
Oh boy, tomorrow is going to be a magical day for me!!!!
About the movie...
After the whole intro, I found myself in a literal joy of color. Plenty of elements popping out in an elegant manner without providing eye strain.
When the animation starts changing it's pace, you can expect an increasement in the 3D depth. Close ups, even in just a few seconds, will leave you gasping.
As I watched this in my VR headset, I was able to manipulate the screen size at my discresion, because the resolution is a beautiful 4K Full-SBS.
His respect for the creative decisions of the film makers is just amazing.
I absolutely loved how he played around in certain movie scenes, glitching between 3D and 2D shots (have a close look during the Columbia intro!)
God. Way better than what I thought it would be.
I would give this conversion a solid 9.8/10
If you ask JFC, he might give a lower score, but hey... Who judges their own work correctly?

Some users might have trouble with certain versions of the release because of the Dolby Atmos audio-track.
This is not a flaw or defect with JFC's work.
There's plenty of documentation out there, so we all can simply remux the file removing all we don't want on it.

This was absolutely the most tripping experience outside of taking mushrooms.

I was absolutely stunned by Into the spider-verse in 3D. Trying to watch Across the spider-verse after that was heart-wrenching, which led me to your website. Sure, it looks weird from time to time but I would give your work a solid 7/10 compared to the perfection SONY with all its resources attained on the first movie. I cannot imagine anyone going back to watching the original 2D movie after watching your 3D conversion. Thank you so much for all your hard work!

The 3D is very impressive for a conversion. There are still a some artifacts around characters, especially hair. This would be a deal breaker for me if it wasn't for the quality of the 3D in this movie. I personally wouldn't watch this version on first viewing since the artifacts are a bit distracting, but it's gonna be great to experience Across the Spider-verse in actual 3D. I thought I'd never get to watch this movie in 3D, so this is just great. I can only see the quality of these conversions increase with experience and better technology. The future of 3D cinema is bright! Thanks JFC.
