Despite still widespread phobias towards people of different sexual orientations, it was and is a mega success almost everywhere in the world. Maybe it is the self-image with which the actors perform, maybe it is the particular execution of the story that causes the norms to merge. But no matter why, it is so much fun to watch this masterpiece again and again. I was even more surprised when this film was selected for 3D. It is not easy to approach it without prejudice, because the entire work stands and falls with every centimeter of detail and every second of atmosphere. But it turned out great. It just supports the respective scene, the respective representation, whether near or far, and it frees our head a little from the edge where the screen previously ended. And all of this without changing the character or destroying the atmosphere. It is a perfect implementation that honors the entire work and only brings the cult closer to the viewer.
