Static 3D 2012 follows a grieving novelist Jonathan Dade and his wife Addie, who live in isolation after the death of their young son. One night, a distressed woman named Rachel arrives at their door, claiming that her car broke down and that she is being chased by figures in gas masks. The couple takes her in, but soon the intruders arrive, abducting Rachel before coming after Jonathan and Addie. The couple flees through the house, garden, garage, and forest in a relentless pursuit. The twist reveals that Jonathan and Addie are ghosts, and Rachel and her team are paranormal cleaners sent to remove spirits from the home.
