Idiocracy 3D Blu Ray 2006

Human evolution has big plans for us, or so one would assume.

A cryosleep experiment gone awry causes two average people to wake up 500 years late in a future 
that is anything but advanced. Well, technically speaking, perhaps it is. But that technological progress must have gone hand in hand with
a decline in intelligence, as civilization is now on the brink of total collapse.

Our two average protagonists, Joe and Rita, who struggle more or less with this new world and navigate their new reality in a far from subtle manner,
inadvertently demonstrate that their level of average intelligence is vastly superior to the current norm. After a few initial hiccups, Joe goes from being
a wanted criminal to a presidential advisor... so everything is extreme creamy. Or not?

"Idiocracy" serves as a cautionary tale, using striking humor to call out the glaring shortcomings of our generation. Its brash, masculine humor is just the thing
to show our current society where we are really headed. The 3D conversion turned out great, giving the film a tangible quality and impressive depth.
It is a welcome upgrade that gives a second chance to a film that, strangely enough, has received far too little attention until now. 

What? You have not seen the movie yet? Then damn it, make sure you watch it before you get too stupid to understand this prophetic masterpiece...
