Wild Ocean 3D Blu Ray 2008

Wild Ocean 3D 2008 is a documentary set in the waters of South Africa where the annual sardine run attracts a massive gathering of marine predators. The film follows the migration of billions of sardines along the coast of KwaZulu Natal. Dolphins sharks whales and gannets work together to hunt the massive shoals. The underwater sequences show dolphins herding sardines into bait balls while sharks and birds strike from all sides. Brydes whales appear to feed on the schools. Local fishermen depend on the sardine run for their livelihood. This IMAX documentary highlights the relationship between predators and prey and the economic importance of this natural phenomenon.
