Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado 3D Blu Ray 2025

Dora, every parents nightmare, is back... I already said with "Dora and the Lost City of Gold" that I could not understand how anyone could have come up with the idea of ​​turning one of the most annoying childrens film series ever into a life action adventure. And now there is even a sequel. But despite prejudices, we were presented with a basically solid family-friendly adventure film with a truly beautiful setting. Pimped up with a few stars, and as a whole, quite entertaining, despite annoying elements like Boots, the monkey, Map, and Swiper. Now it is been a few years, and Dora has matured a bit thanks to a new cast. But anyone who thinks the concept has matured equally is mistaken. All the annoying factors are back this time, as Dora goes "on the search for Sol Dorado". The producers also unnecessarily throw in a bit of magic, which, strangely enough, actually works here. The film attempts, with some success, to balance the mix of annoying cartoon cult, cheesy stylistic elements, and an otherwise solid story as best as possible. The once again superbly chosen setting helps enormously. The 3D is almost flawless, similar to the first installment, bringing the jungle in all its glory right into your living room. Thus, the sequel is also worth a trip into the third dimension. Even though I prefer other adventure films, overall I did not get bored, and it was another nice family evening with the kids...
