How to Marry a Millionaire 3D Blu Ray 1953

The 1950s. A time of freedom, prosperity, a time of self-confidence, a time of emancipation. Well... at least for some women, this is true, albeit not in the way you might expect. The friends Sheila, Trudy, and Polly all live in a time of freedom, are all self-confident, and all willing to give up their emancipation for a little prosperity. The plan is simple: Find a millionaire, snag him, and live a carefree life. As simple as it sounds, it is actually quite difficult, because none of the three friends would have thought that love would have a say, and that there is more to life than the desire for luxury...
A great, lighthearted comedy like no other these days. Here, a classic has been brilliantly brought into the third dimension with incredible respect and appreciation, and with great attention to detail. We have known that 3D works exceptionally well even with classics, at least since films like "Dial M for Murder", "House of Wax", or "Creature from the Black Lagoon". But these films were all already shot in 3D. This conversion was done fantastically well. "How to Marry a Millionaire" is in no way inferior to the classic, stereoscopically shot films. It looks as if it were shot in 3D and gives todays viewer a deep insight into the era. This enchantingly beautiful 3D adaptation deserves my highest praise...
