Northern lights in Norway VR 360
The Lofoten Archipelago, located north of the Arctic Circle in the harsh waters of the Norwegian Sea, is famous for its wildlife, majestic mountains, deep fjords, noisy bird colonies, crystal clear water and long stretches of sandy beaches. These lands were home to the Vikings and traces of their life can still be found. In the small village of Borg, archaeologists discovered the longest Viking dwelling ever found, an 83-meter-long house that has been restored and now functions as a historical museum dedicated to the legendary Vikings. Compared to other regions at the same latitude, Lofoten has a fairly mild climate due to the influence of the Gulf Stream. From May to July you can observe a period of midnight sun, and from mid-September to mid-April you can see the colorful aurora borealis. The unstable weather and amazing light of these places have always attracted many artists, and AirPano could not pass by the stunning landscapes of this archipelago.
