Great Wall of China. Jiankou and Jiaoshan VR 360
The Great Wall of China really lives up to its name. Translated, it means “The Long Wall is 10,000 li long.” Li is an ancient Chinese measure of length, which is equivalent to a certain number of feet. However, it is more convenient for modern people to perceive the length of the wall in familiar units. The length of the wall from east to west is about 9,000 kilometers, and taking into account all its branches, the total length exceeds 21,000 kilometers, which is enough to circle half of the globe! The wall starts in the Shanhaiguan area, called the “dragon's head”, and rises straight up out of the water, making it impossible to get around. It then goes north and west, climbing slopes and descending into valleys, finishing its journey in Gansu Province.
