Pina by Wim Wenders is an insanely touching and mesmerizingly beautiful film dedicated to the life and work of the German dancer Pina Bausch, who is also the favorite of the cult cinematographer. By a tragic coincidence, Pina died, and the director wanted to stop work on the project, but continued shooting with the ensemble.

As a result, the film, which was originally shot in 3D, features some of Bausch's most epic productions at the Tanztheater, including Café Müller and The Rite of Spring. It also features interviews with dancers, both on stage and in real life; archival footage from the life of Bausch herself and, of course, many landscape sketches of her hometown of Wuppertal in the documentary Pina 3d blu ray.
