Guilin is one of China's most fascinating cities, known for its stunning natural attractions. It is located on the banks of the Lijiang River in the southern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Nearby are the ruins of a royal complex dating back to the Ming Dynasty, and to the south is Elephant Trunk Hill, named for its resemblance to an elephant drinking water.
