Huangshan mountains, China VR 360
The Huangshan Mountains are located in eastern China and are a truly unique natural site. These mountains were formed about 100 million years ago in the Mesozoic era and acquired their characteristic rock formations through glacial activity. Huangshan peaks have unusual shapes resembling silhouettes of animals, birds and even humans. Of particular interest are the endemic Pinus taiwanensis pine trees that cover the slopes of these mountains. These trees grow at altitudes of over 800 meters above sea level, and their existence in conditions of fog and strong winds seems to be a real miracle. The length of the roots of these pines often far exceeds the length of the trunk, and the needles are short and sharp. The crown of the trees is broad and flat, with curved branches, and their growth is quite slow.Among these pines, the most notable species with unique names can be distinguished: Pillow Pine, Phoenix, Checkerboard, Black Tiger, Sleeping Dragon. However, the most famous is the Welcome Pine, whose branches grow in one direction, giving the impression that it welcomes all travelers.
