Lake Baikal, Magical Ice VR 360
Five years ago, Stas and his team had the opportunity to capture Baikal from above. Now they are back again, with a new goal - to create a 360° video. However, in addition to that, they also couldn't get around to creating a new virtual tour. The 360° timelapse footage of sunrises and sunsets taken from the ice caves was published as a teaser for the 360° video about Baikal. The team was happy as the weather changed every day. They walked on clear ice under blue skies in complete silence, watching the Milky Way over Olkhon Island. In the -35-degree frost, they had to find ways to keep warm, and managed to get to the camp through a heavy snowstorm. They expressed their gratitude to the nature for unforgettable impressions during this short trip. Also some interesting facts about Baikal were presented. It is the deepest lake on the planet and one of the most famous sights both in Russia and all over the world. In 1996, Baikal was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
