Rosa Khutor Ski Resort. Southern slope. Sochi, Russia VR 360
In the south of Russia there is a unique all-season resort Rosa Khutor, which is located in the city of Sochi. It has its own beach on the Black Sea and a variety of ski slopes. In 2018, the resort was recognized as the best ski resort in Russia for the sixth time by the World Ski Awards. Let's take a look at the skiing from a first-person perspective. One of the slopes of the southern slope, known as “Storozhka”, belongs to the category of “red”. This is the most exciting type of ski runs. The “red” runs are not as difficult as the “black” runs designed for professionals, and not as easy as the “blue” or “green” runs designed for beginners. There are no gentle sections on these trails, and the skier must be able to perform small radius turns and other tricks. The length of the “Storozhka” piste is 2200 meters and the vertical drop is 533 meters. It starts at the junction of the Javor and Fialka pistes.
