Solar eclipse on Tidore island VR 360
It's amazing, but a solar eclipse is a fairly common astronomical event. On average, it occurs 237 times a century. In Moscow, it was observed 159 times from XI to XVIII. Not all of them are total: some are less effective and annular. The distance between the Sun and the Earth is 400 times greater than that between the Earth and the Moon. The Sun itself is 400 times larger than the Moon. But when the Moon visibly covers the Sun, they both appear to be the same size, and the smaller one covers the larger one. However, the Moon's shadow does not exceed 270 kilometers in diameter, so a solar eclipse cannot be seen on our planet at once. It can only be captured as a small line covered by the shadow. In other places, the eclipse is not visible or barely noticeable. Before it was explained by scientists, the eclipse frightened people. When the sky darkens during the day, planets and stars appear, and there is a “corona” on the Sun that is not visible at normal times - it definitely looks like a bad sign.rewriting
