Trip to Lapland. Snowy Fairytal. Finland VR 360
Finland is often called the “Land of a Thousand Lakes” because of its abundance of water bodies. Although there are no majestic mountains like in Switzerland or Nepal, Finland's landscape is not completely flat. The main mountain range known as Maanselkä (which translates as “Dividing the Land”) stretches from Norway to Karelia and partly runs along the border with Russia. The lake landscapes of Northern Finland are framed by low picturesque hills. Among them stands out the 480-meter high Kuntivaara Hill, located only 3 km from the Finnish-Russian border in a secluded place. It is considered one of the most picturesque hills in the region. Climbing to its top takes several hours and requires some effort, but in winter you can rent a snowmobile for easier access. From the top of Kuntivaara you can enjoy magnificent views of the two neighboring countries.
